Camp Update

How is it that it is Thursday already? Camp is going well. We finally had wave jumping today and the campers had a great time.

Time to update the blog has been infrequent, but that means that I am busy with the campers.

Parents, this year the campers will be given a CD with as many camp photos as we can fit on it. See you tomorrow morning.

A good day at OP

Its been a great day at Ocean Park. We were blessed to have sunshine in the morning! That enabled us to be able to worship at the new outdoor worship area built by the people of Longview United Methodist Church. Dean Shellane Adams declared it, "The best morning watch in the conference." Coming from a dedicated Twinlow woman that is high praise indeed! It is a beautiful setting on the dune looking out at the Ocean.

We were presented with a wonderful drama of the story of Ruth from the Elementary campers. They are having a great time too and hopefully some pictures of them will be posted in the next day.

We spent some time at the beach today building sand castles. Some pictures from that should be up tomorrow as well.

We have a very experienced staff and I am very happy with their work through some difficult circumstances with the weather during our first two days.

The staff is here and we are getting ready for campers! It hasn't stopped raining since Saturday but the forecast for Tuesday is pretty good.
